Face recognition ability inherited separately from IQ -- ScienceDaily

We are living in an "Alice In Wonderland" world where 80% of the people are playing "Simon says" and stupidly listening for the next Simon Fauci command. 10%, of course, don't get the word. They never get the word. So this note is directed to you, the 10% who would truly like to know what is going on.

Today's problem: why do the authorities push so hard for masking of children? School children are minimally at risk of covid infection or death, but teacher unions are adamant in their demands that kids wear masks. The data and graphs clearly show that masks "don't work" but the push continues.

What the masks are good at is hiding facial expression, something that Mother Nature gave us to help recognize friend from foe.

Teachers catch endless flak from school officials (and union officials) about their poor showing in teaching non-prejudice. Frankly, they have exhausted every tool in their arsenal and they have not succeeded in neutering every child.

But what about facial recognition? It's fairly widely known that there are developmental years where children pick up other languages, seemingly without effort. A few years later the simple task becomes much more difficult. Could it be that the pols who rule the world assume kids would be less competent to judge others if they live masked lives in the kindergarten and elementary school years? And "judge others" surely includes the skill of knowing who means you harm and who doesn't.

I read the old report linked below and thought of how we should be helping those kids who don't have a strong inherited ability to recognize faces. Instead we are using masking to inhibit them and weaken a life-saving ability Nature bestows us. No thank you.
